Baltimore-based ambient/noise musician Claire Schroeder returns to Dead Hound with the follow up to their 2020 album "幽霊の都市". "Ghosts" presents a continuation along the unique path Claire has been forging, and it features their characteristically thick and sprawling compositions constructed with guitar, "miscellaneous objects," voice and radios. That this album (as well as the last) should allude to ghosts in the title is unsurprising - each track expertly evokes the beautiful liminality and phantasmic unease of an apparition, and reflects the apocalyptic undertones of Schroeder's steadily expanding oeuvre.
