we are very pleased to present a mind-bending post-industrial collaboration by two incredibly talented noisemakers from across the pond: greathumour [max eastman, tribe tapes] and not half [allan conroy]. the tape is a tumultuous journey through drone, harsh noise, sound collage and free improvisation.

in greathumour's own words:

"the c47 is a mail collaboration in which i sent allan a cassette of scrap metal noise, tape loops mutilated and bent out-of-shape, and modular synth improvisations.
al then proceeded to feed this tape through 3 analogue synthesizers and effects. only s&h generators were used.

the end result is akin to a sort of 'sonic dementia.' incredibly abstract and ever-shifting."
